We provide vehicle lockout assistance and car door opening only. We do not cut, supply, duplicate or program car keys, transponder keys, fobs or remote controls, and we do not repair or replace ignition barrels. If your key is lost, broken or not working, this is not the service you need.

That is the list, and it is short on purpose. Everything else about a modern car key is not our work: it belongs to people with the coding equipment for your marque.
How the opening is done
Through the door mechanism, with tools made for it, not through the window and not by levering the frame. We check the make, model and year first, because the method that is routine on one car is a bad idea on another — frameless glass, door-mounted electronics and some airbag routing all change the answer. If your vehicle is in the second group you will hear that before we set off, not after we have arrived and taken a look.
Where the calls come from
A surprising share of them come from one place. Alicante–Elche Miguel Hernández airport sits inside this municipality, between the El Altet and Torrellano pedanías, and handled 18.4 million passengers in 2024, which makes it the fifth busiest in Spain. The hire desks are inside the terminal and the hire car parks are a short walk away. People land, load the boot, and shut it on the keys.
The rest come from the city's street parking, the surface car parks around the centre, communal garages in Altabix and Carrús, and the industrial estates — the Parque Empresarial, Torrellano and the older polígonos in Carrús and Altabix, where vans get locked with the keys in the back during a delivery.
If it is a hire car, call the hire company first. Many agreements oblige them to deal with a lockout, and some will simply bring the spare from the terminal. Calling us first can mean paying twice for the same problem.
Safety, which outranks the lock
A person or an animal shut in a vehicle in an Elche summer — where July averages 26 °C and the hottest days go past 35 °C — is an emergency, not an inconvenience. Ring 112. A locksmith is the right answer for an empty car and the wrong answer for that.

What people ask before they call
Can you make me a new key while you are there?
No. We open the vehicle and that is the entire service. We do not cut, supply, copy or program keys, fobs or remotes, and we do not touch ignition barrels. If your key is lost or broken rather than shut inside, the main dealer or an auto locksmith is who you need, and we will say so on the phone rather than waste your call-out.
Will it damage the car?
With the right tools and an unhurried technician the risk is small, and we check the model before starting. If your vehicle is one where the method carries real risk — some have door electronics or frameless glass that make it a bad idea — we tell you and you go to the dealer instead. Nobody is served by us having a go and hoping.
My keys are shut in a hire car at the airport.
A regular one, and worth knowing the airport is inside the Elche municipal boundary, between El Altet and Torrellano, not in Alicante. Before you call anyone, ring the hire desk: many contracts require them to handle it, some will have a spare in the terminal, and you may otherwise be charged twice. If they tell you to arrange it yourself, call us.
There is a child or a dog in the car.
Say so immediately and call 112 at the same time. In the heat here that is a genuine emergency and the fire service can often be with you faster than any locksmith. We will still come, but do not wait on us alone.
What do you need to see before you open it?
Proof the vehicle is yours or in your care: the permiso de circulación, the ficha técnica, an insurance document or a hire agreement. Same principle as a front door. If it is all locked inside the car, a photo on your phone or an email from the hire company usually does it.
Do you come out to vans and work vehicles?
Yes, including on the industrial estates and at the Parque Empresarial, as long as whoever meets us can show a connection to the company that owns the vehicle.
